FOLLOWING their 3-0 defeat last week against Malvern Radar in the Worcester Sunday Division Two, Malvern Premiers showed their true abilities this week when they thrashed the Oak Apple at home 7-0.

MALVERN PREMIERS 7, OAK APPLE 0

Goals from Nick Kordas and two from Grahame Lowen put Prems 3-0 up at half time and it was Kordas who was first on the scoresheet in the second half.

Superb shots from Chris Brown and Adam Benkwitz increased the Prems lead and substitute Dan Stone made it seven when he had only been on the pitch for two minutes.

Man of the match for Prems was Chris Brown.

New manager, Dave Loader, commenting on the Prems performance said: "Every player made a concerted effort today, demonstrating their abilities and determination to win - it was very difficult to single out one player as man of the match as all played so well."

The Prems are away this Sunday to Plumbers Arms, players to meet at Victoria Park at 9.30am.
