DESPITE another man of the match winning performance by goalkeeper Monty Hale, Red Lion Falcons' search for their first cup win in their short history continues after a 4-1 defeat at Abberley in the Bernard Finnegan Cup last Sunday.
ABBERLEY 4, RED LION FALCONS 1
The scoreline flattered the home side who stole their final two goals in the last ten minutes with the Falcons pushing for an equaliser. Jeremy Williams notched his second in two games for the visitors' consolation.
This Sunday the Red Lion travel to Perdiswell to face Malvern League side Club AC30 in another cup competition. All support very welcome. Players meet 9.45am at Perdiswell.
