WELL-known poet, literary critic and broadcaster Tom Paulin is headlining a weekend of events in Ledbury next month, arranged by the Friends of the Dymock Poets.
Mr Paulin will be lecturing on the patterns of sound in the poetry of Robert Frost, at the Burgage Hall, Church Lane, on Saturday, October 6, at 2pm.
Also on the programme will be David Constantine, poet and Fellow of Queen's College, Oxford, discussing the friend-ship of Edward Thomas and W H Davies, and their love of travelling and walking.
The talks will be followed by coffee, and both speakers will be signing copies of their books.
On Sunday, October 7, West End actor Mark Payton presents his one-man show on Rupert Brooke at the Downs School, Colwall, at 3pm.
Among Mr Payton's many stage credits are Richard II and Mrs Warren's Profession at the National Theatre, The Bill and Emmerdale on TV and the films Howard's End and Maurice.
