A MALVERN college is on the hunt for a piece of newsreel dating back to the 1930s to help complete an archive exhibition.
The newsreel of the Queen Mother's visit to Malvern to open York Hall at Malvern Girls' College in 1934, when she was The Duchess of York, is all that is missing from the college's own historical archives.
The college has been told the newsreel does exist but its attempts to trace it have so far proved fruitless.
"We understand there was newsreel made of the visit in May 1934 and we have tried various people like Reuters and Pathe or whoever," explained the college's Jane Potter. Anyone who can help, should phone 01684 892288.
