REDDITCH Council staff will pledge their support for their footy favourites and raise vital funds for a charity for the homeless by wearing their team's colours to work.
Strip for Shelter Day, which takes place on Friday, is a national event which involves people wearing football shirts or their team's colours to work and paying £2 for the privilege.
All the money raised will go to Shelter, which hopes to raise £500,000 for projects to help the homeless and housing needs across the country.
Townspeople are also invited to wear their kit and bring donations to the town hall reception, where there will be bucket collectors from 9am-5pm.
Donations can also be sent to Shelter Appeal, c/o Human Resources, Redditch Town Hall, Alcester Street, Redditch B98 8AH.
