DARYL Mitchell took his weekend runs tally to an amazing 229 after Sunday's incredible knock of 152 at Bretforton.
The opening batsman shared a club record stand of 230 with Jon Gregory as the home side took the Ombersley attack apart in a two-hour run spree in the Worcester-shire Clubs League.
Bretforton posted a staggering 349-5 and then dismissed Ombe-rsley, including former Worces-tershire star Damien D'Oliveira, for 121.
Mitchell's Sunday spree came just 24 hours after he had hit his highest score of the season - 77 - for newly crowned Birmingham Premier League champions, Stratford, who ended the season in defeat at Barnt Green.
The Sunday league season comes to a close this weekend with an interesting clash at Bretforton, where Pershore are the visitors.
