THE latest addition to West Midlands Safari Park, Jo the fallow deer, is proving she has the 'white' stuff.
The young doe, who is four weeks old and whose pale colouring, instead of the usual spotted coat is unusual, is a big hit with visitors to the popular attraction. deputy warden Angela Potter with Jo the deer.
Deputy warden Angela Potter said she was being bottled fed and would not join the rest of the 40-plus strong herd until spring as her mother, who was young, was too inexperienced to look after her.
She said Jo is "very friendly" and popular with young visitors at Animal Encounter sessions.
