A charge of attem-pted murder has been dropped against a former Kidderm-inster man after the prosecution offered no evidence.
John Cook, 27 and now living in Brook-side, Telford, was given a not guilty verdict by Judge Michael Mott at Worcester Crown Court.
The defendant had denied trying to kill Mark Reece in an incident in Kiddermin-ster's Horsefair.
Cook also denied an alternative charge of wounding Mr Reece with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
He was remanded in custody to await trial.
