BROMSGROVE Council has decided to overhaul the way it works.
After consultation with residents across the district, including Wythall, Alvechurch and Tardebigge, the authority has officially adopted a leader and cabinet decision-making system.
More than 60 per cent of those who responded to the consultation voted in favour of the option.
The new system is a radical move away from the old committee system of making decisions and will see more power in the hands of fewer councillors.
