THE county's tourist industry is to receive £70,000 to help repair damage caused by the foot and mouth crisis.
The cash will be used to subsidise advertising space, produce a guide for Worcestershire, enhance its website and make the county a year-round destination.
The grant has been awarded to Worcestershire's tourism partnership, which consists of Redditch Council and district, county and city councils, from regional development agency Advantage West Midlands.
Any attractions or accommodation providers interested in finding out more about the subsidised advertising can call Redditch Council on 64252.
