A 31-year-old Birmingham man has been arrested in connection with the brutal "Batman" attack on a man in Redditch.
The victim, who is now out of hospital, suffered broken eye sockets, cheekbones, palate and nose.
The attack happened at a fancy dress party at the Ventura Club, Battens Drive, on Sunday, August 12.
His attacker was wearing a Batman costume.
The victim, who is in his 30s, is still recovering from his injuries.
