SEPTEMBER 5 saw the 32nd birthday of the Institute.
Members were entertained by Chris Baron, herself a WI member. She played piano accordion and members sang along to songs from the shows, guessed TV title themes and listened to monologues.
Afterwards members enjoyed superb cakes which had been made by the committee.
Last month's coffee evening raised £66 and details were given about a skittles evening, a flower demonstration evening at Ombersley, a theatre trip and a Sunday outing to the Victorian market at Leicester.
At the next meeting Mrs Anne Bradford will tell more ghost stories.
