DEAR EDITOR -- May I, through your letters page, thank former colleagues, parents, pupils, governors and friends of Catshill Middle School in Bromsgrove, for helping to make my retirement at the end of the Summer term so memorable.
I was grateful for the many cards, messages, letters and presents I received, particularly the Life Membership of Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
The retirement evening staff arranged for me in the Cricket Suite at the County Ground, was an occasion my wife and I will never forget.
I have been privileged to lead such an enthusiastic, lively and talented staff, and take away so many happy memories of the school.
I wish everyone associated with the school the very best for the future.
