POLICE believe the same man was responsible for a spate of sneak-in thefts which happened within hours of each other on a Redditch industrial site.
The first one happened between 8-8.30am on Wednesday at Lakeland in Broadground Road, Lakeside.
A man went into the reception, walked up the stairs into the changing area and stole personal belongings and a black Nike rucksack.
Police believe half an hour later, the same man walked into Avalon, Arthur Street, and stole two handbags after pretending to complete a job application form.
Pc Elaine Sloane, of Redditch police south sector, said: "We were called to the first incident at Lakeland and we believe while we were there the offender was stealing from Avalon."
Pc Sloane said the man went into Community Services Volunteers, on Arthur Street, and stole a blue training bag.
She added: "Factories and offices need to be aware of this and keep doors locked and people who work on reception should never leave it unattended."
The man is described as white, mid to late teens, about 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build with pale features.
He was wearing a cream baseball cap and a dark blue jacket.
Anyone with information can call Redditch police on 584888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
