LONG-distance swimmer Alan Turk was in great form at the annual Windermere Swimming Championships.
The Perryfields Crescent resident completed the gruelling ten-and-a-half mile challenge in five hours 55 minutes and 51 seconds.
It was the 14th time Alan has covered one length of the lake and was just ten minutes off his personal best time, set in 1987.
