BROMSGROVE po-lice are appealing for information after £20,000 worth of breakfast cereal and the lorry on which it was loaded was stolen.

The theft took place at Aston Fields Industrial Estate, in Bromsgrove.

The articulated lorry and the red container, with the word Transmercia on its side, are worth £60,000.

The lorry's registration number is W472 TDU.

Police are keen to hear from anybody who saw two white men who were spotted on the estate at about 4pm last Sunday, September 9.

One was around 5ft 8in tall, of stocky build and wore a beige baseball cap.

The second was 5ft 10in, with a tattoo of a swallow on his neck.

Both had Black Country accents.

A force spokesman said they are anxious to speak to these men as they may have vital information about the incident.

He added: "We are asking people to be on their guard if they are approached to buy any Kellog's cereal in suspicious circumstances to contact us."
