TOWNHOUSE builders have won recognition in the first round of a tough competition.
Forty site managers from the West Midlands have won quality awards in the initial stages of the National House-Building Council's 2001 Pride in the Job campaign.
Seven of those are from Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa.
Next January, the campaign reaches its climax when the top three UK site managers will be chosen from 100 entrants at a London ceremony.
The Pride in the Job award goes to workers who build quality homes, are committed to high standards and demonstrate they are the best in the business.
