ACCOUNTANCY students at Bromsgrove's NEW College have excelled themselves with a 100 per cent pass rate.
The Association of Accountants (ACCA) professional exams have proved no barrier to dedicated pupils at the Blackwood Road-based campus with professional studies students achieving a pass rate of 100 per cent compared to the national average of 57 per cent.
Overall a total of 52 papers were sat across three levels of the ACCA course - foundation, certificate and professional - with a success rate of 90 per cent, while the national pass rate is 55 per cent.
The college's head of professional studies department, Derek Street, said: "These results are probably the best ever seen by the college.
"This success is testimony to the hard work and dedication of both students and staff."
