Studley Village Hall Project. The proposal to erect a village hall at the corner of Crooks Lane and Station Road, Studley was carried a stage further at Tuesday's meeting of Studley Parish Council, when it was agreed to apply for deemed planning permission before considering the question of a public appeal for funds.
It was stated that the funds now stood at £2,460.
A letter from the County Planning Officer revealed that the proposed site was suitable from a planning point of view.
The meeting also agreed that Messrs H E Whitehouse, E T Allen and the Clerk H S Gardner be appointed temporary trustees until application is made for the formation of a public trust.
