CALLS are being made to extend Redditch Council's mediation service to all residents in the town.
The Advertiser reported last week how the council had dealt with 17 disputes involving tenants over a six month period.
Conservative councillor Gavin Smithers said: "At present, one party has to be a council tenant and we're told opening it up to everyone would mean the officers couldn't cope.
"Yet everyone is paying towards the costs of the service."
