ED Dunlop's fillies have done him proud this season and the trainer can take another Group prize with Ranin at Doncaster tomorrow.

Lailani has been the yard's flag bearer with an amazing six victories in a row, including the Irish Oaks and Nassau Stakes.

And Ranin should relish the stamina test presented by the Rothmans Royals Park Hill Stakes, run over the full St Leger trip of an extended one mile and six furlongs.

She ran very well when beaten just half a length into fourth place in the Galtres Stakes at York last time, having disappointed in a Group Two event in France earlier last month.

That run was blamed on the very soft ground at Deauville and she was much more at home on the Knavesmire where she kept on well over 12 furlongs having been short of room at one stage up the straight.

Previously runner-up in the Lancashire Oaks behind Sacred Song in July, Ranin confirmed that promise when landing the Aphrodite Stakes at Newmarket.

The Unfuwain filly also saw out the mile and a half in good style that day and the longer trip and decent conditions underfoot on Town Moor will be very much to her liking.

James Given's Jessica's Dream is progressing with racing and should go well in the Tote Trifecta Portland Stakes.

She scored with a bit in hand on her last run, taking a competitive handicap at Sandown by half a length from reliable yard stick Smokin Beau.

Her run prior to that saw her pop up at 12-1 in the 20-runner Falmouth Handicap at York, where she made smooth headway to lead inside the final furlong and hung on bravely to beat Trace Clip and My American Beauty by a head and the same.

Unraced at two, she has only finished out of the first three in two of her eight races and may still be capable of better.

Henri Lebasque looked a fine prospect on his debut and can take the McKeever St Lawrence Conditions Stakes.

The son of Sri Pekan was slowly away at Goodwood and looked more likely to be tailed off in the early stages rather than run out a cosy winner.

Paul Cole's charge took a while to get the hang of things but overcame his greenness to account for subsequent Richmond Stakes winner Mister Cosmi by one and three-quarter lengths at the line.

Henri Lebasque has not been seen out since, having been given time to recover from a slight setback. But he was still in the Champagne Stakes until the latest confirmation stage and does hold an engagement in the Dewhurst.

Nayef should star in the Select Stakes down at Goodwood.

All the rage for the Classics during the winter after two facile wins as a juvenile, the half-brother to Nashwan has found things a lot tougher as a three-year-old and failed to live up to expectations.

Marcus Tregoning has been patient with him though and that approach was rewarded when the colt won the Rose Of Lancaster Stakes in impressive fashion on his last run.
