KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Jan Molby appears to have ruled out linking up with Harriers' old boy Lee Hughes at managerless Coventry City following the resignation of Gordon Strachan.

The Aggborough boss insists he still has a job to do at Harriers but described speculation connecting him with the job as flattering.

"It's nice to be linked with any job but I wouldn't have thought I will be considered because there are a lot of good people out there who deserve a crack at it," he said.

"I've been linked with previous vacancies but I'm happy at Harriers and we've still got a job to do here."

Molby sympathised with Strachan who he felt he would have got the Highfield Road club out of its present difficulties.

"People should not be sacked after five games, but there's a lot of pressure and it is increasing every season," he added.
