THE funeral of Mrs Annie (Nan) Wesson, wife of the late Dennis Wesson a well-known local market gardener, took place at Saint Laurence's Church last week, conducted by the Rev Hall. Mrs Wesson cycled twice a day from her Marcliff home to Bidford where she worked at Noakes and Crofts, a large store in the village. Interment was at Bidford cemetery and everyone was invited back to Marcliff afterwards.
