ARP/050 Evesham/Pershore Centre: Almost 80 people attended a very enjoyable August meeting at Pershore Town Football Club. This was an open and free meeting with quizes, raffle and a bring and buy stall which raised £103 for the centre funds. The next meeting will be on September 26 when the speaker will be Mr J Massingham who was a member of the diplomatic service. Before the September meeting many members will be going on a day trip to Blenhiem Palace on the 5th and a day at Hereford races on the 12th.

FRIDAY: Daytime, Mayor to attend Britain in Bloom Presentation at Keele University. 7.30pm, Mayor to attend Welcome Service for new Methodist Minister, the Rev Stephen Mullings.
