ONE woman and four men have been charged with violent disorder after a fight broke out in a Kidderminster pub car park.

Some police officers were injured after they tried to break up the brawl in Canterbury Road at 9.46pm on Saturday.

Officers found a window broken in the Coopers Arms pub and a group of people involved in a disturbance in the car park.

Two women and four men were arrested. One woman was released without charge and the remaining five people were charged with violent disorder.

One man was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Kidderminster magistrates court on Tuesday. The other four were bailed to appear at court on Friday.

Two police officers received minor injuries and one attended hospital for treatment but was later discharged. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact Kidderminster police station on 01562 820888.
