ANGLER Richard Carter was in great form again, landing the biggest catfish of the week of 35lb at Shatterford Fishery's Erics Lake.

Carter reeled in a record-breaking catch at the same venue the previous week.

Other catfish were caught of 29lb 11oz, 29lb and 27lb 10oz with luncheonmeat, potters fish and fruit boilies and meat and worms.

Thirteen carp to 21lb and three catfish to 33lb were taken from the Stuarts by an angler using boilies and meat.

The largest carp was a 27lb mirror which fell to boilies on the Stuarts.

There was plenty of action on the Stella Lake, where one angler landed eight carp to 14lb on chum mixer.

Mixed bags of roach, perch and bream to 70lb were recorded, caught on maggots and corn.

Early morning and evening have been the best times for catching trout, 11 rainbows to 3lb caught on a buzzer from the Wyre Dell.

One angler landed nine to 2lb 12oz on a cats whisker and a buzzer enabled a catch of nine to 2lb from the Wyre Dell.
