WORCESTERSHIRE GAMES: The annual games will finally get underway at the weekend after the spring postponement due to the foot and mouth crisis.
Bromsgrove will not be taking part this year but the other three districts - Redditch, Wychavon and Wyre Forest - promise to make the games as successful as previously.
The first event will be basketball on Sunday at Evesham Sports Centre, hosted by Wychavon.
And archery takes place the following Saturday at Arley, hosted by Wyre Forest, with the table tennis on the Sunday at Wychavon's Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre.
