HORSE TRIALS: Kidderminster's Greg Dickens competes in the Burghley Pedigree Horse Trials from today until Saturday on Woodfield Easy Street.
More than 125 entries from 11 countries will compete at the Lincolnshire venue, including Olympic gold medalist David O'Connor from America.
Dickens has yet to complete the event and his father Trevor said: "The first time the horse pulled a muscle which we couldn't do much about.
"The second time he took off on one foot at the Cottesmore Leap, four fences from home.
"Hopefully he should do better this time. He's a very fast horse and so good cross country - he skips around advanced courses."
