BROADWAY'S lady bowlers have won through to the last 16 of the Travelsphere National Top Club Championships.
They travelled to Bridgwater last Saturday to play Exmouth Madeira, the top club of Devon, and won through on shots difference.
The Fours, skipped by Elaine Crosbie, won by nine shots, while the Triples, skipped by Joan Parfitt had three shots to spare.
However, Di Jackson lost her singles match by four shots and the Pairs, skipped by Viv Hall, lost out by three shots.
With both clubs having two points each it was the Cotswold club that emerged victorious by five shots. They will now face Hampshire club, Atherley, on Sunday, September 9 at Bath BC.
