THE Malvern Football League, which begins its fixture schedule on Sunday, September 2, will hold its first League meeting of the season on Tuesday (August 21) at the Civil Service Sports Club, Malvern commencing at 7.30pm.
The League welcomes seven new clubs in both the Senior and Under 18s Youth Division sponsored by www.thesoccersite. co.uk for season 2001/02.
Malvern Town, Welland, Warndon Youth and Libbery Wanderers are the new additions to the U18s Youth Division which now embraces clubs from Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire..
Old Bush Willie Thorne, Interthornes and Kempsey are the additions to the Senior Division.
During the meeting the first round draw of the Sunday Senior Cup will take place and the League will present each team with a Mitre match ball thanks to a match ball sponsorship deal with The Soccer Site.
