A WIDE variety of arts and crafts are being shown in a free exhibition at St Gabriel's Church, Hanley Swan, throughout this month.
The exhibition, which last year was attended by more than 1,000 people, will have everything from corn dolly making to silk painting, pottery and the art of making seats for cane chairs.
Around 30 local exhibitors will be giving demonstrations and leading classes, as well as offering their handiwork for sale.
The stewarding and organisation is being carried out by the congregation of St Gabriel's, St Mary's in Hanley Castle and St James' in Welland.
Co-ordinator David Thomas said: "Last year visitors to the exhibition were highly delighted, as their comments in the visitors' book testify.
"We offer the exhibition as a ministry of hospitality for locals and tourists. We would encourage people to come down and join us, especially if they haven't seen our beautiful Gilbert Scott church."
The exhibition, which runs until next Saturday (August 25) was opened by the village's new vicar, Rev Frances Wookey.
