Jan Molby's Kidderminster Harriers would be delighted with a repeat of last season's result at Darlington on Saturday.

Harriers won 2-1 at Feethams with two goals from veteran John Durnin who has since been released.

And this season they aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 home win over Scunthorpe United last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Darlington were sunk by a late goal at 10-man Southend in a 1-0 defeat that boss Gary Bennett felt should have ended in at least a draw.

Harriers will welcome back targetman Drewe Broughton who has finished a one-game suspension. Drewe Broughton

But Broughton has only just recovered from a hamstring pull and may not be thrust straight into the starting line-up.

Centre-back Adie Smith is expected to be fit after a foot injury but midfielder Danny Williams is still banned.

Darlington reported no new injuries this week but already have quite a few with full-back Paul Heckingbottom, midfielder Phil Brumwell and striker Clint Marcelle among those on the comeback trail.

They should include summer signings defender Simon Betts, former Middlesbrough midfield man Neil Maddison and forward Barry Conlon.

There has been reported unrest among supporters in the north-east with some calling for the head of manager Bennett.
