KIDDERMINSTER Harriers are expected to name an unchanged squad for tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three trip to Darlington despite having Drewe Broughton back in training after injury.

The striker is not likely to be risked following hamstring trouble.

He was unable to play against Scunthorpe last Saturday because of a one-match suspension, but boss Jan Molby now wants to nurse him back to full fitness before throwing him in at the deep end.

Molby is contemplating whether to swap the formation by parading just one player up front.

Last season he employed the tactic regularly in away matches indicating that Stewart Hadley could feature as a loan striker with Andy Ducros acting as link-man.

Molby, however, is expecting a tough clash at Feethams where last season his side clinched a 2-1 victory - only one of three league wins on opposition territory.

He said: "They are a decent side. Last year they were favourites to win the Third Division and they have still got some excellent players.

"They have made a good signing this season with Neil Maddison from Middlesbrough, which is a real coup for them, but they have also got other good players.

"A lot of people recognise Craig Liddle as one of the best centre halves in the Third Division, so they are a team with some excellent players and it's going to be difficult.

"They had an unfortunate result last Saturday when, having dominated the game at Southend, they lost 1-0 to a late goal. But Darlington are normally a very strong home team and it will be another tough game for Molby is telling his players to con concentrate fully on tomorrow's clash and forget all about next week's plum Worthington Cup tie with Preston.

He said: "At the moment we are trying to deal with what we intend to do at Darlington and then once that's out of the way we will try and deal with Preston.

"When it comes around it's a game that we can look forward to, but first we want to go to Darlington and get a result. If we can go there and pinch a point that will be a good result. Obviously, we'd like us to win all our games but we have got to be realistic and if it means changing the system a little bit to try and get a point then that's what we might do."
