A DANCE company celebrated the start of the Ross International Festival by performing a series of pieces in Ross-on-Wye market place.
Senza Tempo, left, performed a trilogy of pieces with lively water displays to celebrate Wednesday's opening of the festival.
The first of the three works, Capricho, is a sensual and surreal Mediterranean story conceived on a Barcelona roof during a very hot and dry summer.
Yesterday, the second piece, Lazurd, was performed. It explores the idea of travel in both a physical journey through the Mediterranean, and in a spiritual way.
The third instalment, Zahories, which is set in an arid desert, was due to be performed at lunchtime today.
The rest of the festival, which runs until Bank Holiday Monday, August 27, will feature Vanessa Mae, Joan Armatrading, Lulu, Hothouse Flowers, The Birmingham Royal Ballet, The Blue Tones, Eddi Reader, Atomic Kitten, The Honeyzs, and Alistair.
