REDDITCH chairman Rod Laight is out to mend a few fences this season after a change of managers.
The Reds chief referred to the Crazy Gang antics of Nicky Cross' predecessor Rob Smith, who left last season.
"There are a few clubs we visited and left the wrong impression of Redditch United, an impression left by the squad and managers.
"I'm looking to see some stability on and off the pitch but can't remember a time I have felt so excited.
"The manager and team are new and although there is a good blend of experience, most of the team are young.
"I think we will cause a few surprises."
