Old slides of Beaucastle gardens in the making, never seen before by the public, were accompanied by a talk by Ken Williams, retired head gardener of Beaucastle.
He recalled the time when land owners could afford to employ many gardeners full time.
The two-day flower, vegetable and floral art show is on Saturday, August 18, starting at noon, and the following day, from 11am, at St George's Hall, Bewdley (opposite the library).
All entries should be submitted to secretary Derek Aston on 01562 751992.
There will be an auction of the produce on the Sunday, at around 4pm.
