Broadway Ladies' Invitation Day
Broadway Ladies' Captain, Denise Parker, partnered by Jane Lawrie, the Chipping Norton Ladies' Captain, took first prize at the Broadway Ladies' Invitation Day on August 7. In conditions ranging from sunshine to torrential rain - many times during the course of the competition - Denise and Jane carded a net 70.
Second prize was taken by Sue Edwards with her guest Jill Rabin, from West Byfleet, with a net 71. Third: Kathryn Morris and Sabrina Willett (The Worcestershire): net 74, while Maggie Wakefield and Gaynor Christie (Gloucester) came fourth on a countback from Lyn Chambers and Clare George (King's Norton): net 75.
