LEGS 11 superbiker Kelvin Reilly had an eventful weekend at Knock Hill before finishing 20th.
After two days of dry testing the heavens opened for qualifying at the Scottish circuit.
Australian Championship leader Paul Young started 27th on the grid after a lottery in two torrential sessions which saw one second spanning seventh to 25th.
Reilly qualified 22nd after coming in 25th on his first session.
On the first corner of the race proper the pack bunched up on a sharp right hand bend.
Reilly's knee was trapped in the bodywork of the bike alongside him hurling him onto his front wheel and off the track.
Incredibly, after sliding across wet grass on his front tyre, Reilly managed to stay on the bike and rejoined in last before climbing to 20th.
Worthington is hoping to have the main race bike ready for the next Superstocks round at Cadwell Park on Monday, August 27.
