EDUCATION FOUNDATION: The revision of the charity scheme means that the trustees are now able to pursue the distribution of income from the trust. Initially grants will be made to assist students to purchase books or essential equipment for their courses. Applicants who have to meet certain criteria are invited to contact the clerk of trustees on 01684 772084 for details. Applications will close at the end of September.
