BEWDLEY Library has come up with a "novel" scheme - opening for business during the lunch hour.
The library, which traditionally has been closed between 1pm and 2pm during the week will now stay open, thanks to a £50,000 cash boost for the service from Worcestershire County Council.
The new opening times, from Monday, September 3, are: Tuesday and Sunday, closed all day; Saturday, open from 9.30am to 1pm and on all other days, open from 10am to 5.30pm and from 6pm to 8pm.
