ASTWOOD Bank have everything to play for in the derby crunch at Feckenham on Saturday (1.30pm start).

The league leaders dropped more points at the weekend in a winning draw against Evesham and saw title rivals Romsley beat Brockhampton to close the gap at the top to 21 points.

Newly-promoted Bank started the day 30 points clear of Romsley but can now be caught by their rivals if they slip up.

Captain Alex Robinson led by example with 83 as the Sambourne Lane side knocked 246 for four.

Bank took seven wickets with Jon Summers four for 20 but could not finish off stubborn opponents.

With Feckenham losing to Malvern Ramblers and Cookley losing to Belbroughton, Astwood's chances of promotion were strengthened even if their grip on the championship lessened.

The Sambourne Lane outfit are 44 points clear of third placed Eastnor and know a win from their last three matches will all but seal promotion for a second year running.

And with the Bank having to win to stay top, Feckenham desperately need a win after another defeat at the weekend.

After a promising season, Feckenham's form has nose-dived in recent weeks.

Feckenham have slumped to fourth, 36 points behind Romsley and promotion, and another defeat at the weekend could condemn them to as low as eighth in the ten team league.

The Millers are without opening bowler Mark Davidson for the derby but Astwood Bank welcome back Ian Bowes and have Stefan Jagielski knocking on the door after scoring 128 for the Seconds on Saturday.
