JOAN Parfitt's Broadway team went on a scoring rampage in the Steradent Women's All England Bowls Triples Championship at Leamington.
Parfitt and her club mates Sue Davies and Viv Hall led 11-6 after five ends of their first round clash with Pauline Proud's Ventnor team.
Parfitt then cut loose with a vengeance pounding her opponents with 20 shots as she scored on nine on the next 11 ends to charge to victory 31-8.
Meanwhile, Val Pedlingham's Eastnor side saw victory snatched from their grasp .
Pedlingham and her colleagues Toby Bennett and Pat Yorke led 16-14 with three ends to play, but the Gill Restall's team from Mansfield swooped with two singles and a double to take the match 18-16.
Tracy Powell's Leominster side saw a 12-7 nine-end lead disappear as Pam Margrett's side from Tewkesbury stormed back to win 20-15.
Jackie Hudson, Barbara Rudge and Anne Case from Chainwire, Kidderminster, crashed to a 25-8 defeat in round one against Margaret Lomax's team from Olney.
