A PENSIONER was hit over the head with his own fire extinguisher after he bumped into two burglars leaving his house.
The man, who has not been named by police but is said to be in his 70s, was returning to his home in Load Street in Bewdley from a night out at 11.30pm on Friday when he was assaulted, leaving him bruised but not requiring hospital treatment.
He challenged his attackers, described as white males in their early 20s, who then hit him on the head with the fire extinguisher which they had stolen from the house.
