A GALLERY in Worcester is helping to bring ancient skills alive once more through its latest presentation.
The Bevere Vivis Gallery is hosting a range of creations made with young pliable willow fronds, which are shaped into intricate and imaginative designs.
The most spectacular display includes a giant willow tortoise created by pupils and parents from Upton Snodsbury Primary School.
The pupils were instructed under the watchful eye of Paul Simmons, a weaving expert who will again be running one-day workshops at the gallery early next year.
