DEAR EDITOR - There have been letters recently stating that Paganism is a newly invented faith. This is not true, it has been around for centuries - in fact long before Christianity.
As a practising witch I feel I should point out that if anybody comes to me and says that they wish to become a witch they will be vetted to make sure they are doing this for the right reasons and not because they think (like most people do) that Paganism is all drugs, orgies and black magic.
This is not the case, I am a white witch and only interested in helping people and nature, people involved in black magic are not recommended by us, and are fools who do not know or understand what they are getting into. The help we give people is free of charge and anybody who charges is not true to the faith.
Jacky Edkins,
Austin Road, Bromsgrove.
