DEAR EDITOR - I am amazed at the sudden appearance of the Action for Droitwich (AFD) -- who are they? Where have they come from? Who is financing them? (Cost of public meetings, adverts in newspapers, consultants).
Are they really interested in Droitwich Spa?
I have tried to contact them about Droitwich and other areas of concern -- the Worcestershire Hotel, the Lido etc, but there is no response. Is AFD therefore only interested in the supermarket development next to DFS? If so, why?
Have they really thought what will happen to the town? Will people go into the High Street/Market/Salters shopping centre if they can buy all their shopping at this supermarket on the edge of Droitwich?
The people of Droitwich Spa need some answers.
David Morris.
