DEAR EDITOR -- With reference to the article under the heading of 'Black mark for council' in last week's Advertiser/Messenger.
Could I request that when the assistant engineer is going round with his paint-pot, wiping out intrusive apostrophes on parking meters, could he please call at the New Road end of East Road and deal with the sign which says "Odd No's" at the same time?
He can check up with Councillor McDonald as to whether the replacement should be "No.s" or "Nos."
