DEAR EDITOR - I am writing in disgust of Bromsgrove's parking payment facilities and parking attendants.
I purchased a parking ticket for a two-hour stay at a car park in the town centre.
The machine does not give change so I put in a £1.00 coin - I was then 23 minutes late returning and found a parking ticket on my windscreen.
Surely this can only encourage people to shop out of town - I would expect to pay a fine if I was illegally parked or hadn't been law-abiding and paid a fee. But to be fined £10.00 after already paying £1.00 and arriving back 23 minutes late, I find scandalous.
