DEAR EDITOR - I am writing to you to see if you can help by drawing the attention of your readers to the matter of the state of Catshill cemetery.
I took my four-year-old grandson there to show him where his great-grandparents and other members of our family are buried.
I was saddened and disgusted at the pure neglect of this sacred and final resting place of our loved ones.
It has grasses and weeds nearly 6ft tall everywhere, all overgrown. I wonder why it has been allowed to get into this state?
Who is responsible, the vicar? The council, or who?
Where do all our council taxes go to?
I have written to the vicar, Rev. Richard Harding , and I am writing to the council and to our MP.
I hope you can help, all other cemeteries that I have visited have all been much nicer, cleaner and well cared for.
Catshill must be bottom of the list.
