MOVES to secure up to £1 million for Alcester community projects have been set in motion, writes Helen Clarke.
The town's mayor and council clerk have had a series of meetings about a Government scheme to boost rural economies.
And a timetable has been drawn up for the town's bid for funding.
It was announced earlier in the year that Alcester is one of just 43 market towns in the country to benefit from the £37 million initiative.
